3. Conclusion of contract

3.1 The depiction of the products in the online shop does not represent a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding online catalogue. By clicking on the order button, you submit a binding order for the products contained in the shopping basket. The receipt of the order is confirmed by automated e-mail together with the acceptance of the order immediately after submission. The contract enters into force on receipt of this e-mail confirmation.

3.2 A binding contract can also be entered into beforehand as follows:
- If you have chosen credit card payment, the contract is entered into at the time the credit card is charged on conclusion of the order.
- If you have chosen PayPal as the payment method, the contract is entered into at the time your payment instruction to PayPal is confirmed.

4. Saving of contract text and contractual language

4.1 We save the contract text and send you the order details and general terms and conditions by e-mail. You can also view your previous orders at any time at shop.trustedshops.com in the ‘My Account’ area if you have registered as a customer and logged in via the website with your access details.

4.2 The contractual language is German.

5. Subject of the agreement

The subject of the contract is the acquisition of digital content, participation in seminars and/or the auditing of online shops.

5.1 Digital content
When digital content is acquired (e.g. handbooks in PDF format), this can be downloaded directly once the order and payment are concluded. Consumers have a statutory right to cancel, and we provide separate information about this on the ‘right to cancel’ page.

5.2 Seminars
When booking seminars, the participation fee includes participation on the chosen date of the seminar and (where agreed in the service description) additional services such as lunch and conference drinks, seminar script and handbooks and, where applicable, a voucher to offset the participation fee against a membership fee for new registrations.

5.3 Auditing of online shops
When booking an audit for your online shop, your website is audited to ensure its adherence to the relevant Trusted Shops quality criteria.
You get an individual audit report that provides information about the extent to which your website corresponds to the quality criteria and in which areas there is still potential for improvement.
You get easy-to-follow explanations and advice on each point, so that you can independently rectify your mistakes and increase trust in your website.
This offer is exclusively for businesses within the meaning of section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
